The 36th National Conference of the Romanian Library Association

The management board of the ABR will award the following prizes during the National Conference of the Association of Librarians from Romania - the XXXVI th edition The Global Library – Open Access, a Collaborative Space, and an Intellectual and Emotional Refuge, in Brașov, based on a file competition:

"Ioan Bianu" Award - to a member of the association within the National Libraries Division;
"V.A. Urechia" Award - to a member of the association within the Public Libraries Division;
"Ioachim Crăciun" Award - to a member of the association within the Division of University and Specialized Libraries;
"Spiru Haret" Award - to a member of the association within the School Libraries Division;
"Dan Simonescu" Award - to a student in the Information and Documentation Science specialty - Topic: Library products and services in the context of new technologies

Depending on the availability and preferences of sponsors, other prizes may be awarded in different library categories.

The files for the ABR awards will include the registration form, accompanied by the data in the Annex below, and should be sent online to the ABR Secretariat at infoabrgmail.com, attention Mrs. Emilia Vodea, by August 24, 2026 at the latest.
